Harry’s progress through The National Trust list of 50 things to do before you are 11 3/4.
15. Play in the Snow
Harry enjoyed making a snowman like Olaf; he wasn’t such a fan of walking in the snow though as he felt it was too cold and too wet! The National Trust 50 things
We regularly go for a walk across the road, past the chickens and over the railway bridge. En route, there is a perfect Pooh Sticks Bridge! The National Trust 50 things
29. Explore a Cave
While on holiday in Cornwall, Harry explored Merlin’s Cave with Daddy when we visited Tintagel. Along with Isolde and Uncle Will, they also discovered a Gruffalo cave in Port Isaac. The National Trust 50 things
1. Climb a Tree
Harry loves to climb, and trees are no exception! He is keen to climb higher and higher, especially with a little help. The National Trust 50 things
On a trip to Dunham Massey, we had great fun building a den together with Harry and Isolde taking an active role in moving and placing the logs. The National Trust 50 things

23. Visit a farm
During the brief spell of nice weather this summer we visited the farm at Tatton Park. Harry’s favourite things were the pigs and playing in the dens in the woods. He was very happy but muddy by the end of it! The National Trust 50 things
6. Run around in the rain
We were lucky to have a fantastic weekend camping with really good friends in The Cotswolds over May bank holiday this year. It was the first time the children had been camping and they were so good and loved it. The first day it poured with rain but Harry just got dressed up in full […]
Harry helped pick blackberries last year but this year he was very involved. Unfortunately he ate far more than went into the basket but he had a great time and we still had plenty to make a nice supply of blackberry and apple jam when we got home. The National Trust 50 things
