15. Play in the Snow

19. Play Pooh Sticks

                    We regularly go for a walk across the road, past the chickens and over the railway bridge.  En route, there is a perfect Pooh Sticks Bridge! The National Trust 50 things

29. Explore a Cave

While on holiday in Cornwall, Harry explored Merlin’s Cave with Daddy when we visited Tintagel.  Along with Isolde and Uncle Will, they also discovered a Gruffalo cave in Port Isaac. The National Trust 50 things

1. Climb a Tree

4. Build a Den

31. Hunt for Bugs

23. Visit a farm

During the brief spell of nice weather this summer we visited the farm at Tatton Park.  Harry’s favourite things were the pigs and playing in the dens in the woods.  He was very happy but muddy by the end of it! The National Trust 50 things

21. Pick blackberries growing in the wild

Harry helped pick blackberries last year but this year he was very involved.  Unfortunately he ate far more than went into the basket but he had a great time and we still had plenty to make a nice supply of blackberry and apple jam when we got home.  The National Trust 50 things
